FAQ

If I'm not LE, can I still attend an in-person course (what about retired cops)?

Depends. This is determined on a course by course basis. Please contact admin@efcombatives.com to verify.

What training options are available to non-LE?

Our User Certification Course is open to anyone and enrollment in our in-person combatives courses are on a case-by-case basis if you are non-LE. Please email admin@efcombatives.com with your background and any related credentials you may have to determine eligibility. 

Does EFC host courses outside of the United States?

Yes, we can accomodate courses anywhere in the world. Contact admin@efcombatives.com to get more info on hosting a course outside of the U.S.

Is the Online Training seperate from the In-Person Training or is it combined? 

All of our training comes with online course material that can be accessed for 24 months. Our "Online Courses" are separate and different from our "In-Person Courses". The EFC Instructor Certification Course is only available as in-person.

What is your cancellation policy? What happens if something prevents me from attending a course that I'm enrolled in? 

With written notice, we will remove you from the course you are currently enrolled in and apply a credit to your account that can be applied to any future course.

Do you have SME on hand to testify in court?

Yes. We can provide this service at an additional cost.

Do you have scholarships or discounts for smaller agencies?

We are in the process of setting up a scholarship program.

Are Post Certified in my State? 

Email admin@efcombatives.com to verify the status of your specific state. We are working to be POST certified in all 50 states.

Who do I contact if I'm having trouble accessing course material?

Who do I contact if I can't log into the mobile app?

If you have downloaded EF Combatives from the App or Google Play store and the issue is logging in with your credentials, please email admin@efcombatives.com for assistance. 

Is there a discount for groups?

We offer a group discount of 10% on private courses for 15 or more students. Contact admin@efcombatives.com to discuss further.

Do you have any affiliate programs?

We do not currently have a public affiliate program in place.

How long do I have access to courses that I've purchased?

For the in-person courses, you have two years of access. For other courses, please look at the course description page for details.

How do we host a course?

Do you have an Agency-Wide program? 

Yes, we are willing to license our product to an entire agency. Contact admin@efcombatives.com for more details regarding our Agency Program.

Where can we train locally with EFC methods and philosophy?

What size training room (mat space) is needed?

We can accommodate almost any size, but the minimum is typically 1200 sq. ft. of matt space. Ideally, we would want double that space (2400 sq. ft.) to have the most freedom with movement. A whiteboard and a screen for presentations is also required. 

How many people are required to host a course

We require a course to have a minimum of 20 paid students. Courses can be "Private" and the host pays for all 20+ students, or it can be "Open" and the host is only required to pay for 5+ students, and the other 15 may come from surrounding areas. The minimum is still 20 students in either case. NOTE: International locations require a minimum of 25 students.

What is your refund policy?
